IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Ironwood Hollow Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Richmond, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
