IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Silverline Nest Staffing is a Indianapolis staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 636 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
