IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Ironwood Orchard Arts Center is an arts centre in El Paso with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with visitor services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
