IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (remote)

Highbridge Sparrow Freight is a Oakland logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
