IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Providence, RI)

Rivermark Quill Legal Group is a Providence practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
