IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Portland, OR)

Redstone Orchard Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Portland area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 504 people based in Portland. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
