IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Portland, OR)

Bluepeak Bright Community Partners Group is a Portland charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 335 people based in Portland. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with donor records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
