IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Portland, OR)

Ironwood Granite Water Authority Partners operates treatment plants and pipelines around Portland, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people based in Portland. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
