IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Portland, OR)

Cedar Wren Freight Group is a Portland logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
