IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Pittsburgh, PA)

Fernwood Meridian Inspection Services Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
