IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Sparrow Foods and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
