IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Forge Freight is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
