IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Summit Pine Construction and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Nashville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
