IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Minneapolis, MN)

Nova Timber Learning Group is an education provider in Minneapolis serving students and families. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 804 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
