IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Madison, WI)

Ironwood Basin Health is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with patient scheduling. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
