IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Madison, WI)

Fernwood Granite Construction Group delivers building projects for owners across the Madison region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Madison. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
