IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Louisville, KY)

Nova Birch Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Louisville. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 913 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Louisville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
