IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Little Rock, AR)

Fernwood Quill Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Little Rock, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
