IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Knoxville, TN)

Greenridge Wilder Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for pipe repairs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
