IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Kansas City, MO)

Bright Lakeside Freight Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with proof of delivery. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
