IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Jacksonville, FL)

Highbridge Sparrow Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Jacksonville. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 487 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
