IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Nova Beacon Financial Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
