IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Corner Construction Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
