IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Jackson, MS)

Clearpath Vista Manufacturing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
