IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Jackson, MS)

Clearpath Glen Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 656 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
