IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Indianapolis, IN)

Cedar Fox Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
