IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Indianapolis, IN)

Northwind Field Community Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for grant reporting, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with grant reporting. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
