IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Ivory Inspection Services Associates is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
