IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Houston, TX)

Amberfield Timber Learning Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for enrolment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
