IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Houston, TX)

Stonegate Fox Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Houston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
