IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Loom Learning Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
