IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Hartford, CT)

Highbridge Haven Manufacturing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
