IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Hartford, CT)

Northwind Rook Staffing is a Hartford staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
