IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Bright West Environmental Services Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
