IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Amber Insurance is an insurance company in Grand Rapids with claims and service teams. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
