IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (El Paso, TX)

Lumen Linden Civic Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
