IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood Basin Health runs clinics and patient services around Detroit. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 159 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with patient scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
