IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Detroit, MI)

Ironwood River Staffing Group connects candidates and employers across the Detroit region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a small organisation of about 181 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with candidate screening. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
