IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Ember Financial is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for customer onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 331 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
