IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Foods is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
