IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate North Learning Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be user accounts and access. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with learning materials. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
