IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Quill Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Des Moines. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
