IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Dallas, TX)

Westbrook Ridge Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Dallas area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with meter reading. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
