IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Columbus, OH)

Nova Fern Freight Group is a Columbus logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our user accounts and access. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
