IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Columbus, OH)

Amberfield Drift Facilities is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 980 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
