IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Chicago, IL)

Foxglove Cross Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
