IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Chicago, IL)

Redstone Thistle Construction is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on user accounts and access for change orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
