IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Umber Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Chicago. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. You would join a large organisation of about 339 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
