IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Charlotte, NC)

Nova Junction Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Charlotte area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
