IT Support Specialist - user accounts and access (Charleston, SC)

Northwind Hollow Energy Group delivers power and gas plans across the Charleston region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on user accounts and access. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
